Formed in 1996, Narnia have spent three decades building their own corner of the international melodic metal scene. Powerful vocals, virtuosic guitars, keyboards and big melodies have remained at the heart of the band – but standing still has never really been part of the plan.
In 2026, Narnia celebrated their 30th anniversary with their tenth studio album, X. The album moves between arena-sized choruses and more progressive territory, with songs including Oceanwide, Remedy (SOS) and Jerusalem. Christian Liljegren remains the band’s unmistakable lead voice, while CJ Grimmark and bassist Jonatan “Jono” Samuelsson also step forward on selected vocal parts.
Produced and mixed by CJ Grimmark and mastered by Thomas “Plec” Johansson, X is both a celebration of Narnia’s history and a clear indication that the band is still looking ahead.
