Clear terms. Straightforward membership.
Terms and Conditions
These terms apply when you use IndieMusic.se, buy from our shop or join the Indie Music Artist Membership.
Effective date: 29 September 2026
By placing an order or starting a membership, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. Mandatory consumer rights always apply and are not limited by these terms.
01 About us
Indie Music is operated by JONO Media AB, Swedish company registration number 559393-4218, c/o G12 Studios, Grafikgatan 12, 754 54 Uppsala, Sweden (referred to as “Indie Music”, “we”, “us” or “our”).
Email: order@indiemusic.se.
02 Scope and acceptance
These terms govern your use of IndieMusic.se and purchases of products, services and recurring memberships from us. Any separately signed agreement takes precedence where it conflicts with these terms.
You must be at least 18 years old, or have the permission of a parent or legal guardian, to place an order. If you order on behalf of an artist, band, company or other organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to bind that party.
03 Accounts and information
You are responsible for providing accurate contact, billing and artist information and for keeping your account credentials secure. Please tell us promptly if your details change or if you believe your account has been used without permission.
04 Orders, prices and acceptance
Prices are stated in Swedish kronor (SEK). The checkout shows the applicable taxes, delivery charges and total price before you place the order. We may correct obvious typographical, technical or pricing errors before accepting an order.
An order confirmation acknowledges your order. A binding contract is formed when we accept the order and payment is authorised. If we cannot accept an order, we will notify you and refund any amount already paid.
05 Payments and recurring billing
Payments are handled through the payment methods shown at checkout. Payment providers may apply their own terms and privacy notices.
The Artist Membership is a recurring subscription. The monthly plan renews every month and the annual plan renews every year at the price shown when you order, until cancelled. By purchasing a membership, you authorise us and our payment provider to charge the selected payment method for each renewal.
If a payment fails, we may retry the charge and pause or end access after reasonable notice. We will tell you in advance of a material price change where required by law. A new price will apply no earlier than the next renewal after that notice.
06 Artist Membership
The membership provides an ongoing way to submit artist information and release material to Indie Music for review and preparation of artist and release pages. It does not by itself include management, a record deal, booking, distribution, press coverage, playlist placement, merchandise production, advertising or other campaign work.
One membership covers one artist or band unless we agree otherwise. You must provide reasonably complete and usable material. Timelines depend on the completeness of your submission and our current workload; no fixed publication date is promised unless confirmed separately in writing.
07 Your material and permissions
You retain ownership of the text, names, logos, artwork, photographs, audio, video, links and other material you submit. You confirm that you own the material or have all permissions needed for us to use it, and that it does not infringe anyone else’s rights or break the law.
You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to store, edit for format and clarity, reproduce, publish and promote the submitted material as reasonably needed to provide the Indie Music service. This licence does not transfer ownership to us. You remain responsible for credits, permissions and factual accuracy.
08 Review and publication
Submissions are reviewed by a person and are not published automatically. We may ask for corrections or replacement files and may refuse unlawful, infringing, misleading, hateful, abusive or technically unusable material. We will exercise editorial judgement reasonably, but membership does not guarantee a specific placement, audience size, media coverage, sales or other result.
09 Physical goods, delivery and pre-orders
Available delivery methods, costs and estimates are shown at checkout. Delivery dates are estimates unless we expressly agree a fixed date. Pre-orders and made-to-order products may have longer lead times. Risk in goods passes to a consumer when the goods are received by the consumer or a person designated by them.
If a delivery is materially delayed, contact us so that we can investigate and provide the remedy required by applicable law.
10 Consumer right of withdrawal
If you are a consumer buying at a distance in the EEA, you generally have a statutory right to withdraw from a service or subscription contract within 14 days after the contract is concluded, and from a goods contract within 14 days after receiving the goods, without giving a reason.
You can exercise this right online through our Withdraw from contract here form, or email order@indiemusic.se with a clear statement that you wish to withdraw. We will acknowledge an online withdrawal without undue delay. You may use the model form below, but it is not required.
If you expressly ask us to begin a service during the withdrawal period and later withdraw, you may have to pay a proportionate amount for work already performed. The right may end for a service fully performed during the withdrawal period only where the legal requirements, including your prior express consent and acknowledgement, have been met.
Statutory exceptions may apply, including to goods made to your specifications or clearly personalised, and to sealed audio recordings, video recordings or software after unsealing. Nothing in these terms removes a right that cannot legally be excluded.
11 Returns, defects and refunds
After notifying us of a valid withdrawal from a goods purchase, you must normally return the goods within 14 days. You are responsible for direct return costs unless we agreed otherwise or failed to give legally required information. Goods should be handled only as needed to establish their nature, characteristics and function; a deduction may be made for diminished value caused by additional handling.
We refund amounts due under mandatory law using the original payment method, unless agreed otherwise. For valid withdrawal from a goods order, we may wait until we receive the goods or evidence that they have been returned.
If a product or service is faulty, not as described or not supplied with reasonable care, contact us promptly. Your statutory rights regarding defects and complaints are unaffected.
12 Cancelling a membership
You can cancel future renewals through My Account or by contacting order@indiemusic.se. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period already paid for and stops future renewal charges. We do not normally provide partial refunds for an unused part of a billing period unless required by law or agreed by us.
After cancellation, ongoing submissions and updates end. Existing published pages may remain online unless we agree otherwise or you ask us to remove material that you control; reasonable archival, accounting and legal records may be retained.
13 Intellectual property
The Indie Music website, branding, layout and material created by us are protected by intellectual property laws. Except as allowed by law, you may not copy, scrape, republish, sell or commercially exploit them without written permission. This section does not apply to material that you own and have submitted to us.
14 Third-party services and links
The site may use or link to third-party services such as payment processors, streaming platforms, social networks, delivery companies and embedded media. We are not responsible for a third party’s separate service, availability or terms, although we remain responsible for our own legal obligations to you.
15 Acceptable use
You may not misuse the site, attempt unauthorised access, interfere with its operation, upload malicious code, submit unlawful material, impersonate another person or use the service to violate another party’s rights.
16 Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access where payment remains overdue, these terms are materially breached, the service is abused or continued publication creates a credible legal or security risk. Where appropriate, we will give notice and a reasonable opportunity to correct the issue.
17 Availability and liability
We aim to keep the site and service available, but uninterrupted or error-free operation is not guaranteed. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was made. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, or limits mandatory consumer rights.
18 Personal data
We process personal data to administer accounts, orders, payments, submissions and communications, and to meet legal obligations. Further information is provided in the privacy and cookie information available on the site. Payment providers process certain payment data under their own privacy notices.
19 Changes to these terms or the service
We may update these terms for legal, security, technical or business reasons. The version shown when you place a one-time order applies to that order. For an ongoing membership, we will give reasonable advance notice of a material change where required. If you do not accept a material change, you may cancel before it takes effect.
20 Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by Swedish law. If you are a consumer, you also retain any mandatory protection provided by the law of your country of residence. Please contact us first so that we can try to resolve a complaint.
A Swedish consumer may refer a dispute to the Swedish National Board for Consumer Disputes (Allmänna reklamationsnämnden, ARN), arn.se. Consumers in another EEA country may also contact their local European Consumer Centre. You may always use any court or dispute procedure available to you under mandatory law.
