Christian Liljegren – Kraft (CD – jewelcase)

Christian Liljegren is perhaps most recognizable as a singer in hard rock bands such as Narnia, Golden Resurrection, Divinefire, Modest Attraction or Audiovision.

But Christian is also a song evangelist and has a burning heart for these powerful and classic songs that have carried many people through the ages. On the new album “Kraft” (“Power”), Christian is backed up by Olov Andersson on piano and keyboards.

On this album we meet classic songs like “My Way”, “Bridge Over Troubled Water” which are timeless songs that empower and empower millions of people. Here you get these songs in Swedish.

Pelle Karlsson’s interpretation of “My Way” called “Jag håller hans hand” is one of Christian’s favorite songs together with Pelle Karlsson’s own composition “Ett liv” which highlights the power of faith.

When Christian has been out on tour with Narnia, there are certain songs that touch people’s hearts. “Long Live The King” and “Shelter Through The Pain” are such songs and now they get a different expression that is more close and intimate and now also in Swedish but the message is still powerful.

A few years ago Christian & Olov made an album with the band Audiovision and the song “The Gate” is a song that touched the duo a lot and here it comes in a Swedish version with the album’s producer and Audiovision’s guitarist Torbjörn Weinesjö.
